Is therapy effective?

Is therapy effective?

Have you ever noticed how traditional therapy often misses the mark?

And not only therapy but other things that are meant to help us feel better too- faith, spirituality, self-help books, coaching, medication, even meditation...

We spend so much time looking for the next thing to fix us, the next thing to make us feel better- finding temporary fixes or different ways of looking at things, but we never quite get to the root. We never quite rid ourselves of the pain (emotional or physical) even after trying so hard.

I felt this way for sure.

I read the books, prayed, meditated, went to therapy, got energy work, hired coaches and still wasn’t better.

Well I was a little better but not all better. I was getting fed up with minor improvement after minor improvement coming from massive effort... until I started working with my subconscious mind. That’s when everything I had learned all came together to show me what to address in my subconscious mind. That’s when I got better. All better.

I stopped obsessing, longing and getting stuck.

All of the modalities have their place-and distinctive value, but unless you address the subconscious too, you’ll have a heck of a time sticking with anything, or getting any kind of long term effects.

Just look at how often you promise yourself you're going to eat better or stop procrastinating.

Our subconscious mind is where all of our knee jerk reactions and triggers reside. Think of it like a 5 year old with a photographic memory- always trying to keep you safe.

It does not have the discernment to know that just because something has happened before, it will not necessarily happen again. So it’s always looking for patterns and connections to the past to warn you about in the present.

Dealing directly with that 5 year old is the only way to undo overreactions, fears, resentment and anything else that stands in your way.

Ways into the subconscious mind are hypnosis, meditation combined with mantras, EMDR, EFT, NLP or coming to see me for the tools that combine all of that and more.

Really, I just want people to find the peace that I've discovered. It's my raison d'etre.
